Keira Minter has been working in the VET sector for seventeen years and is now an experienced and versatile developer.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA), a Diploma in Education (DipEd) and a Diploma in eLearning (DipEd eLearning). She also gained a scholarship from the School for Social Entrepreneurs and is a qualified Caseworker with the Dept. of Family & Community Services (FACs).
After graduating, Keira worked as a teacher in Juvenile Justice. It is possible some detention centres are still decorated by her large murals of inspiring leaders such as Nelson Mandela and Marcus Garvey. Eventually she acquired a substantive postion with the Workforce Training & Development team, which is where her engagement with AQTF accredited training began in earnest.
Keira's experience enables her to analyse the technical aspects of a Training Package quickly and accurately. Although she cannot (yet) make water into wine, she can transform a list of Performance Criteria into several days of compliant and experiential learning activities.
Keira continues to paint and draw and has two children, Edward & Grace.
Martin Guinness has produced and/or directed more than 50 documentary films, feature films and TV series over the last 30 years. He has won numerous international awards, including Best Director in the New York Film Festival. In Australia his films have screened on all free-to-air channels as well as Foxtel.
Martin is an old-school film-maker with a new-school focus.
Previous success has enabled him to narrow his attention towards what is important to him. This can be summarised as:
Improving the lives of the vulnerable. This is not limited to the human species, but also includes other animals, such as elephants, bears and quokkas, to name a few.
For the last decade his films and videos have been directed towards the charity and not-for-profit sectors.
He is the author of two published books. He is currently completing a psychology degree. He is particularly interested in the topic of shame and runs workshops that have helped many people work through the blocks that hold them back.
