Yoni - a Feminist Documentary

The Yoni Movement is revolutionary. This documentary film surveys and explores all women (and some men) who use the Yoni as a symbol of empowerment, inspiration, and education.

It is a joyous celebration of the Yoni and all women who love her and use her symbolism. This includes visual artists, poets, performance artists, comedians, musicians and scientists. Inspired by Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues, this film gives women a voice to speak from their experience as owners, and operators, of Yonis.

Yoni The Film is predominantly about women, and their rise to a positive and self-affirming sexuality. We explore their endlessly creative and amazing approaches to using the yoni as a feminist symbol. We intend to focus on the practitioners who are using information that is evidence-based and has artistic credibility in the wider lexicon.

Currently in post-production, Yoni the Film is due for release in April 2021. Sign up to our newsletter to be included notified of the release.
